Antenna Design was founded in 1997 by Masamichi Udagawa and Sigi Moeslinger. Antenna aims to make the experience of objects and environments more meaningful and exciting.

In the public space, Antenna has extensive experience ranging from the design of New York City and Washington DC subway cars to ticket vending machines and public information kiosks, affecting the urban experience of millions of people daily. On the commercial side Antenna works with corporations to help them identify and design people-focused products and services. When addressing complex problems, such as technological change and the transformation of culture, public and private organizations value Antenna’s vision and approach to design, which is rooted in the belief that design is about shaping people’s behavior. Antenna also has a close relationship with office furniture brand Knoll. In 2010 Knoll launched Antenna’s eponymous office furniture system designed for emerging work styles. Since then, Knoll has expanded the collaboration with Antenna Design launching new products every year.
